The most common pest problems inside or around our homes come from mice, rats, moles and flying or crawling insects. Banish will tailor a treatment specific to your home and your problem. Below are our typical methods of work:

Rats and mice

We can usually completely eradicate an infestation within three to five visits to your home. This will involve a thorough inspection of internal and external areas to determine the root cause of your pest rodent activity, and how they’re accessing your property. During the first visit, we will install preparations such as traps or toxic baits in strategic and safe areas. Special care will be taken where children or household pets are present, to ensure 100% safety at all times. At the end of each visit, a detailed treatment report will be left for your records. Follow-up visits will be conducted regularly until we can confidently confirm your home is free of rodent pest activity. Banish will communicate with you regularly, recommending improvements to hygiene, proofing and environment in order to better reduce risk of pest infestation.

Moles

These burrowing mammals can cause significant damage to lawns and gardens. Banish technicians are trained by highly experienced and successful local mole-catchers, with decades of learned knowledge. We use conventional trapping methods for the capture of moles, with intensive visits until your outside spaces are completely free of hills.

We never charge per mole caught, so you can be assured that no matter how severe your problem, you’ll be getting a fair price.

Insects

We can treat almost any insect pest. Most flying or crawling insects can be treated within one or two visits to your home. Most treatments will not require you to vacate your home. However, some can require you to vacate the property for 4+ hours so that insecticide can be safely applied. Our insecticidal products leave nothing behind that is toxic to humans or household pets.

We offer both one-off treatments and contracted pest control to our residential customers.
